Here we at the Navy Seal Museum. Really a great
place but I didn't see the former
Governor of Minnesota!
Our friends Dick and Kathy Anderson at the
Navy Seal Museum in Ft. Pierce, FL where the Seals first started.

Dick and Kathy traveled with us for two days.
Kathy, Dick and Pat at the beach for a relaxing break in the day!.
Two of our six manatee friends at Titusville. What great and gentle animals
they are. It was a thrill to see them in such a close environment..
Kathy and Dick Anderson just before leaving the boat to return to Madison..
The light house at St. Augustine. This is a beautiful and relaxing spot. We took
a trolley ride around the city and the beach bus to the light house. This is really
a beautiful and historic city.

It's a joy to see and visit the historic sights and also to take a few days to
relax and enjoy the sights.

Pat even got in a few hours of shopping. Looking is the most important part
that task!!!
This is the home for the light house operator at St. Augustine. It was a pleasant place when we visited but we noted that in the bad weather days seen by lighthouse tenders there were probably many days that were less pleasant.
Finally an Army establishment..

This is a view from atop the wall of the Castillo de San Marcoin St Augustine. This was used by the Spanish and English in their efforts to defend the area.

It was also used as a "holding area" for several of the American Indian Tribes as they were captured and relocated.

Not a pleasant part of our history .. but an important series of events for us
to remember. .
A view of the Municipal Marina where we spent our time. It was right down town next the Bridge of the Lions.
Another colorful development along the waterway.
Another beautiful sunset
High tide at St. Mary's Marina in St. Mary's, Georgia. This was an interesting little town.

They have recently lost their main industry (a paper mill) and art recreating themselves.

They have many refurbished buildings with shops directed at tourism. Pat was also able to get a much needed therapeutic massage...what a great place!!
Casino boats where ever you look..
Shrimp boats galore as we approach the marina in Brunswick, GA.

This was a nice, but short stop.
One of our more interesting boat neighbors at the Brunswick marina.

There was also a Casino boat that went out for the gambling and back at midnight.
Kilkenny Marina, GA. Another short stop with very high and low tides.
The ramp on the dock went from this position to flat as the tide changed.

The water marks are evident on the poles representing the high tide mark.
Savannah, GA. Marina. What a great place. We were at the

Isle of Hope Marina which we felt was a great place to spend Easter..
One of the beautiful square in Savannah. There are many similar small park areas thorough out the city. The live oaks and the spanish moss are spectacular.
One of the beautiful homes in Savannah.
Forrest Grump's bench where he had the box of chocolates.

You know..life is a lot like a box of chocolates!!.
