Beaufort South Carolina.. what a beautiful place. Here is one of the very special homes!

	More beauty at the Magnolia Plantation. This was a lovely place to visit..beautiful gardens and a lovely plantation home.
Another pretty spot at the plantation.. This is a nice place to simply stop and think about life... How luck we all are to have such beautiful places to visit..
	Another lovely sunset. Guess we are a little hung-up on sunsets... but you have to admit they are really beautiful..
As we left Charleston they were having the parade and the internment of the Confederate crew of the submarine KS Hunley. This was a very big event.. with confederate and a few Union reenactment soldiers coming from all across the US. If you look on the shore you will see the people lined up as the parade moves by.
	OH SAY CAN YOU SEE !!! Fort Sumter sight of the inspiration site for our National Anthem.
The Marina at Georgetown SC. A fishing type of marina. This was a place where with a fair amount of wind and current we made a particularly good docking.. It was one of the "observed ventures" that occur at marinas and actually got us a few points with the locals.
	Golf any one? This is the lift..across the waterway from the clubhouse to the first tee at a golf course outside of Myrtle Beach . I've never been much of a golfer and this would certainly keep me from trying any harder !!!

	One of the more interesting boats docked along side of us at the Myrtle Beach Yacht Club. If you look hard you can see the lace curtains in the windows. Certainly not part of the new decor for AT EASE !!
Another interesting site along the way.. A pink house with blue shutters and a pink lighthouse for special effect.
	Don't pick those flowers! Oriental also has beautiful flowers.We also found some great Italian bread and a few "oriental" items at the gift shop.
Yet another beautiful sunset... guess we are hooked on sunsets!t.
	One worried Captain as he waits for the diver to inspect the props, rudder and the stabilizers after hitting a log. No haul out was available here just the eyes, strength, and knowledge of a skilled diver!

	The Captain and his diver confer!!! Mostly good news ...looks like it's mainly the props that are damaged and we have a spare set..thanks to John's great planning!
Here we are in Coinjock, NC. As one of the tee shirts in the store said.. "Where the Hell is Coinjock". It actually was a most welcome and pleasant overnight stay. Nice folks, nice dockage and a big relief after the last few days!
K	Norfolk...Great to see the city and know that we are going to spend a few days doing some land travel, visiting friends and relaxing. This is a beautiful city and nice to "cool our jets".
First land trip to the outer banks of North Carolina. Wrights Brothers Museum and Kill Devil NC. It has been many years since either of us has been to this area. What a change!
	Williamsburg was our next visit. Not enough time but it will be added to our every increasing list of places to return.

	John's old Navy friends the Ewings, from Virginia Beach visited us in Norfolk. Always great to see old friends and catch up on the latest events in their lives.
Navy ships as we part the Norfolk area and head for Annapolis, A few stops remaining before we get there..but we are on our way..
